Yasp, your machine is fine except your video card. You'll chop in the cities.

what you recommend for video card? for some reason my MOBO won't take the newer 4x8x AGP cards.

I was thinking of gett a FX5700 because the pins look the same as my GForce3...

3 small sections instead of 1 large and 1 small.. dunno what that means but it might mean something :P

Any AGP card's going to have that same edge. If your motherboard really won't work with 4x/8x AGP, that probably wouldn't work. Maybe check to see if there's a BIOS update for the board to make it work with faster cards.

Your Gforce should work just fine actually. I played using Fazin's old Gforce2 ti200 until I got my 6800oc.

The different configuration of the pins is usually a difference in voltage. Some motherboards support 3.3v video cards *only* (or was it 1.5v? :/), make sure you check the motherboard's manual first.

its 1.5 unless you wanted cards that you could bbq with

i played wow on a geforce2 gts, it played like a champ at around 25fps, played it on a ti4600 and got alot more eye candy with it, plugged in an XT and got everything it had to offer :D
