Blizzard plans to add digital signature checking for mods, to prevent the use of mods like Decursive. Details are not known at this stage as to when this will be implemented but designer Rob Pardo said that 'they're close'.

Yet another example of devs using the "in theory not practice" way of thinking. I doubt any of the dipshits even play a class that has to cure/dispell on raids. This is totally fucking retarded unless they add group dispells/cures. It would be like trying to cure during Quarm with no group cure spells.

The Warden only compares one way hashes on the client side. There's no realistic privacy issues.

Play-it-for-you scripts ruin games, but the reason they got written in the first place was because of the horrendously stupid mass debuff spam required on raids. No-cooldown abilities like Dispel and the ultimate faggotry that is Cleanse should have never made it to release, and not just from a PVP perspective.

If the players can only conceivably cure one ailment every N seconds, the developers have to come up with something a bit smarter than yet another encounter that drops a hugely debilitating curse or DoT on everyone.

On one hand, decursive is needed in certain PvE situations.

On the other, decursive makes being a warlock in pvp suck ass. It's a mod that removes almost everything you can do to people, instantly.

So I say, yay.

They do need to get rid over the mass debuff thing though.
