I'm actually not even feeling excited about this one. 1 Hero class means that all warriors are gonna become deathknights and be overpowered. Its like how they only added 2 "epic weapon quests" like from EQ1 to Molten Core (hunter / priest) and they were overpowered compared to all the other classes. And of course the legendary weapons are all melee only ... (except for the staff from Naxx that no one gets because its drop rate sucked and now Naxx is obsolete).

I really hope they mean first as in first to be announced. will be frakking disaster if that was the case.

If it's anything but lvl 80 advancement with a differing option for each race/class combo it's gonna suck.
But hey on the bright side as an enhancement shaman i'm sure i'll get all kinds of cool toys like Ironwall totem(lvl 78) reduces incoming melee damage by 90, or sentry totem II same as the first one but this one has sparklies! that and a cool 51 point talent activateable on a 10 minute cooldown for 950 mana that increases my Intellect by 25 for 3 minutes =(

I did like the trailer. was neat seeing that hummie priest get Bitch slapped while her Paly friend ran like the chicken we all know pallies are!

Will there be additional hero classes in the future?

Yes, we do intend to add more hero classes in the future, but right now our focus is on the current expansion.

Its the only Hero Class.

The only reason the death knight is being called a "hero class" seems to be that you have to quest to activate it. They aren't going to be gods
