I just started a Human pally .. yea I know they have thier pros.. amd cons.. but I also know they have thier moments when they can shine in solo'ing.. groups.. and PvP.
Anyone here plays a pally or knows about them.. and places to go or quest that have good pally gear. So far he is lvl 11 has 2 unused talent points a smith / engineer ( yea I know, but I have another char thats a mid lvl miner that sends him ores ) Any advice or links would help out alot :D

I only got a pally as far 29 but if you can learn to twist your seals and judgements right it give ya a ton of options work with. fights tend to be longer as your burst damage is pretty low, but good lord it's hard to kill a Pally in PVE enviroments.
I went retribution and with seal of command the DPS went up significantly. that could be differant after 2.0 though.
I do have a ton of respect for the class. a well played pally is an outright PITA. but if you where smart you'd re-roll horde and go Shammy=P

Smith / Engineer is great for a paladin. Great items and range, and if you can keep the ore flowing you're set.
Draenai Paladins are awesome because of the Heroic Presence but otherwise a Human Pally with Diplomacy and the weapon skills is a great pick.

Anywhere you quest will have good gear, since you'll be rapidly leveling and rapidly replacing all of that gear. Work on those tradeskills, they'll serve you well.

First bit of advice. Roll Horde instead. Down with Alliance!!!

A good twist on the longer fights would be to judge Crusader on your target, then Seal of Command or Rightouseness. Command will give you the better burst, but on a long fight Rightouseness is better for regular bumps to damage. Crusader will also impact your Consecration damage. Once you get Corpsemaker (Ax from RFK) you'll be killing xp giving mobs with 2 back to back proc's of Seal of Command.

I don't know about others, but I like to run with Retribution Aura. It just seems that mobs and people drop faster when I'm using that aura. I know know why I HATED paladins before Horde got them. Now I'm just showing Alliance why we hated them. It's fun taking out 2 Alliance who are within 5 levels of me at the same time. :)

I gots me a level 38 BE Paladin along with many other toons. Yes Toon ADD is in full effect...still.

Got my BE pally up to 37 atm and will hit 40 this weekend i think. Maybe 45 by next week if i'm lucky. I've found i can reliably kill normal mobs solo that are 2-3 levels above me and mobs 4 levels above me with a little difficulty. I can do elites about 1 level above me but thats about it.
I'm going protection/retribution atm and it's working well so far. (About halfway through each but may try out a full spec once i get higher)
The warlock's den website has a good leveling guide imho (Crypt's guide in the what else? Guide section). It's pretty much designed for soloing horde/alliance warlocks, but i've had no problems adapting it to my other classes i play.
Mining/jewelcrafting isn't too bad for tradeskills atm. Been able to make a few blue items and some useful stat gear so far.
Anyone here use the seal that heals you when you get hit? (Think it's seal of salvation but not sure) I've found it can be very useful for some fights. your mileage may vary tho.

WOOHOO go go Horde Pally force.
Ive noticed we now have some damn good pally players in BG's(40-49 bracket)
I wonder if all that time spent trying to kill the PITA's have taught horde how to be better pally's?

haha this makes me laugh.

I thought you guys always say horde won BGs before TBC? Now to hear you it sounds like you've found the way of the light. I love it :)

I've not done much grouping, but when I do I'm generally the tank, and can protect the group well with the abilities we have. I've not done many instances with this toon. I'm guessing that when I start doing those I'll be using the utility seals (the non DPS). It all depends on how long a mob will live. I love it that I can get away from gankers easily, and if they suck at it, turn the tables on 'em. HAHA

Just an update so far I got my Human pally up to lvl 24 and so far I'm going full retro spec for him. I am currently doing alot of WSG / AB with him and solo'ing, and loving it, lol even with my **semi crappy gear** I have kill / owned hords that were 4 lvls over me http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/?#character-sheet.xml?r=Blackwater+Raiders&n=Zentrix is what I had on last night during my last AB runs .. I alsao have the shield from SFK and the sword of Protecter*bah spelling .. the one you can get from the WSG pvp vendor** its hard to kill me unless its some punk azz lock doing thier chain fear / dotting thing.. or like 2+ hunters on me with thier pets

Yea I know I need tp upgrade my gear and such, but not sure what I should get.. I'm still looking for quest / instants that have god rewards.. the next play I plan on going to / farming once I get enough marks from AB for those boots is going to be gnomer if I remeber right there is a pretty decent chest item from a quest. Also I want that 2hand swored from BFD, I dont remeber the name of it but it has a proc that dots your target and decreases thier armor by 50 for 10 seconds

Mines still a little under 41 atm, but i've been working on getting my 60's to 70. (One there, other otw...lol)
Probably do my hunter or the pally too 70 next.
Once you get 58 you can head over to TBC. About doubled my warlocks health and mana just with quest rewards. Lot of good items and drops with even better ones in the 5+ mans.
