How's BC? The only people in my guild that have it are also GMs so they are huge fanbois. Curious what you think. When we both played the beta for the original game we were blown away, but the closer and closer it gets to the release of the expansion I feel like its gonna take a lot to wow me. The horrible lag time between new content, the miserable turn battlegrounds have taken from epic battles straight out of WC3 to FPS arenas w/o the excitement of it being a FPS ... I'm starting to give up hope that the game will ever be nearly as good as it was supposed to be.

... how is it?

It's all good. You will enjoy it if you like the game at all.

Might be a dumb question, but something that's been tickling my interest has been the cash flow. I know for a fact that when I made the most money was when I quested 55-60, two years ago, simply because of all the quest rewards and the fact that I was actually out adventuring and procurring loot that I could sell.

Now, I'm a casual raider. That's to say that I raid 4-5 nights a week, and nothing else. At all. My bank account is at a steady 100, and I'm barely maintaining status quo. And as we all know... the flying mounts are gonna be ridiculously expensive.

So how's the cash flow? Is it accelerated? Do the mobs drop more money, pumping more currency into the economy and thus making the mounts "less expensive"?

I made about 2,000 gold leveling to 70. If you go into it with an epic mount, getting the non-epic flying mount at 70 shouldn't be an issue at all.

I'd imagine level 70 green weapons would vendor for 10g or so since level 60 greens sell for about 5g. I've managed to save around 2,000 from enchanting - another 3,000 shouldn't be too difficult :)

Yeah, everything sells for a lot more.

Though, aim for 6k, not 5. Coming from an epic riding mount, you need expert riding for 800, then artisan for 5,000, then the wind rider for 200.
