That is Ragnaros the God of Fire. That shot was taken during a battle royal marking the end of beta.

Though it might be a technicality to anyone but me, Ragnaros is himself not a god.

Thats from the end of open beta when they spawned all sorts of crazy stuff. Massive infernals in Ironforge, and Onxia in the barrens.That Ragnaros guy was huge as hell. Makes me even more anxious to see what the high end raid content will be like.
