They were yacking about this on EQ2 boards today. Is this for real? You can't have more than one account in WoW?

You can have multiple accounts.

However, you can't have multiple accounts, be a shady scammer or IGE farmer, and then get away with it by pretending you didn't do anything wrong.

Ahh that makes perfect sense and I hope they crack down on them just as much as they are in EQ2 :D

Or it's a mistake from Blizzard, or a ebay scam spotted (question would be why sell an account, stealth it back and sell everything on said account to split cash, it would be brigther than a lighthouse).

But you certainly can have multiple accounts under the same owner (I created 3 accounts with my CC at release, and I haven't been banned yet).

He was probably a gold farmer. They've been cracking down on those guys pretty hardcore, heh.

I have 2 accts under my CC, and we trade shit between the two all the time. I have my vault characters "store" and "superstore" over on the account my girlfriend plays on and switch to these little level 1s to trade money and items to my main (banks are so tiny!) ... and never had a problem.

This is just one side of a story, and probably not the 100% truth.

People go on the WoW forums saying how they got unjustly banned all the time, usually lying. It happened a ton when blizzard did that first huge round of bans for hackers.

It reminds me of the time that one guy was saying he got banned for using levitate then was caught on other boards bragging how he got all these people to believe he was innocent when he was exploiting.

Heh yeah, I was thinking of exactly that guy. That was great.
