And mention of another, previous one to boot:
We've seen this tragic outcome before. In August 2005, Sunrise police used a SWAT team for a lethal pre-dawn raid on a suspected drug dealer. Anthony Diotaiuto, 23, was shot 10 times. Police found a little more than an ounce of pot in the home.

Can you honestly say he was a drug dealer from the info in the article? (I'll answer this for you)
NO!
We need a hell of a lot more info on this than was in this article...like, on what grounds was a warrant issued, what exactly was found, etc. Of course, for every case like this there's a hundred that 100% justified.

I wouldn't be surprised if the guy was actually selling some marijuana.
However, with all of the misinformed drug raids we've had end in fatalities, mounting a para-military raid at dawn for a pot dealer is just stupid. It puts everyone in undue danger, police and citizens alike.

Quit being soft on the entire US population between the ages of 15 and 30, you liberals.

Malse is right...being soft has gotten us into this mess with people having an ounce of pot in their homes. My god, what is this country coming too. Does anyone realize that people like this can end up spending whole paychecks in a grocery store after just smoking one single joint? It all starts with organic foods and then the next thing you know it's drakes cupcakes and assorted half gallons of cheap ice cream.
