"3. More than one billion birds a year crash into buildings in the US every year. Mirrored office blocks are a particular hazard."

- bbc.co.uk/news

It's sickening. If you're not over in Iraq killing innocent people, or spreading your disgusting culture across the world, you're - purposefully - destroying nature, in any way possible.
How low can you get?! What.. are these birds ARABS?! IS THAT WHAT THIS IS ABOUT?! DO THEY HOLD THE KEY TO OIL OR SOMETHING?!?!
REVOLT! REVOLT FOR THE BIRDIES! BRING DOWN AMERICA! JIHAD ON THEM! STOP MAKING MIRRORED BUILDINGS!

CAPITALIST SWINES!

On a seperate note.. whatchya think about the new American pledge to pull troops out if the (coming soon to a World near you) new Iraqi government asks them to? I think it was a good move, diplomatically. And I also liked the idea of coalition forces coming under direct control of the Iraqi government when it is set-up, as well.
But then, we face the obvious risk of public pressure in asking the new government to make the coalition forces leave. What then? Would the "pledge" hold up? I can't think of what would happen now if the troops were to be taken out. Let's face it.. Iraq, even by the June (haha) date, do not have the resources or means to keep the country border-line stable. Who knows what limited control the new government will even have?
Discuss. Also, the birdie thing. Damn capitalist American swines.

Well Halo, in case you grow wings in the near future then I can only give you one advice, don't fly too low above a US city.

Even if you won't get hit by a building someone might shoot such an oversized bird.

To quote someone from another board on the subject, "Did Lampchop ever tell Shari Lewis to go fuck herself?"

It almost turns me on to think that on any given day, 50 million people in England learn something damned cool about the U.S.

If only we gave a shit about England, we'd return the favor.

Birds are stupid. If they can't avoid what to a bird's scale of perception is a massive object, then they deserve to die. Also, Europe has tall buildings. Ever been to Canary Row, Halo? I bet lots of birds fly into those tall buildings all the time. Probably as many as the number that flew into the picture window on my one story house, but one story houses are an evil American invention, along with windows.

As for America and Americans, why should we stop? You would be deprived of your favorite hobbies of ranting about our culture, our politics, our basic existence and perhaps even the fact that we also have a sky over our head that is the same color blue as in Europe. Oh, the outrage!

Oh god.
Don't tell me you took the original post even remotely serious? Get a fucking grip.
The serious part begun with the "On a seperate note".

*sighs* fucking retards.

And Akipt.. you've just lost the plot mate.

Halo,
Not all of us are supporting this crap. I am proud to be American and I totally disagree with the current administration's reason for being in Iraq. But, that being said, as an American, I have the right to voice my opinions on such matters. That in itself is a great liberty and what makes this country great.
I know I come off as an ass sometimes, especially to neo-conservatives and republicans in general, but I'm voicing my given right as an American...

'I thought the plot was hilarious. Or did I strike another nerve wit ya?'

- Akipt, you've never struck a nerve. Your attempts at "flame baiting" fall painfully short when you conclude a supposed insult with "Ner ner!!11". But don't worry, some of us are good as annoying trolls, some aren't. You're just good at.. uhh.. sucking Bush's cock, 'n thinking Arabs are evil. And stuff.

TeHoRacle, I think you've misunderstood the post, as most of the above, beside Willgatus. The initial part was.. uhh.. flame-baiting, to Akipt's pleasure. It was a bit of, well, a joke. You're supposed to say "Hoho, that old dog Halo, winding us up. Oh look, a serious bit on the development of coalition proposals to the new Iraqi government. Personally, I think.." and then you put your 2cp, and you then listen to my reply, full of witty opinions and several snuck in insults towards Akipt et al.

Oh how it all went horribly wrong.
Hey, a cookie..
