DAoC actually turned out to be decent. Unfortunately, they released with 0 content and horribly broken PVP, and a bunch of people stopped playing a few months after release. I quit when they told me I had totally gimped my skills because of misinformation on the beta boards. A couple months later they introduced a way to reskill, but I had a powerlevelled Shash to 60 by then...

I quit EQ for DAoC but recently quit DAoC for Anarchy Online.

DAOC was good until Shrouded Isles was released, the Necromancer class destroyed any hope of exp between 35 and 42 because of Powerlevellers taking all the decent exp spots. To get from 35-42 you literally have to solo all the way.

From bad to worse Zagio. That's like quitting CS to play RtCW.

I have tried DoAC.. Only think I liked was the necro class. IMHO Thats how VI should have done it. other then that I could not figure out how to play it. TOOOO used to the EQ macro's and GUI.

I quit playing about a year and a half ago...visited the boards today out of curiousity I guess.

I'm playing Ultima Online, growing plants on the Sonoma server, hanging with my kids, and am madly in RL!!! love with Soldric, who still plays EQ.

I miss EQ, but just don't have the time for it. I miss the people most of all I think.
