As you might have noticed, I set up a vB Code for YouTube embeds. I just wanted to test it myself a few times before announcing it, to make sure it works.

To embed your own videos, take the hash out of the URL and enclose it like so:

hash

For example, if I wanted to embed this movie:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUIdf4UJ3_4

I would use this code:

eUIdf4UJ3_4

Which would result in this:

eUIdf4UJ3_4

Enjoy. And try not to overdo it.

So, lets pretend I'm interweb challenged, and I want the actual URL so I can share a video someone posts here. Say, sending lots of political crap to my father. Is there an easy way to find the original address for an embedded video?
