Right now I crash every time I zone.
I have tried deleting all my Cache files.
I have tried running a thorough update.
I have tried restoring my default settings.
Someone suggested wiping out and re-instaling EQ. Thats like 6 CDs of stuff, and I can't even find my Account Key for some of them (I found Kunark one, but haven' found any of the others).
Any other thoughts?

You don't need your account keys to install... only to update your account, which you won't need to do if you are just reinstalling.

go into you userdata directory and move cj*.* to a temp dir, load up eq and disable your journal.

If you're on WinXP, go to your network settings (or something like that) and uninstall the QOS Packet Scheduler. Works like a charm.

Check your dbg.txt file after a crash, very often it will let you know what went wrong. Might help point you in the right direction.

if it was within the last couple of days it might not be your problem, might be on SoE end.
I rarely (if ever) go link dead, but yesterday (in particular) I was getting tons of lag, going LD while zoning, going LD soon as I got back on, tells were takin forever to send, etc. Was askin around and a lot of other people were having similar problems so the problem might not necessarily be on your end.
If that is the case then there isnt much you can do except wait for them to fix whatever they screwed up.
