I liked the first one, but the last time I wandered down the game aisle we seem to be inundated with RTS. Every one is essentially the same, building and unit structure wise. Not real excited about this.
I wish they'd come out with more RPGs along the lines of KotR. I mean, quality RPGs, that is. |

WC3 was massively different from WC2 and SC both.
I'm hoping the same for SC2. So far Blizzard has proven themselves as the most successful game developer yet.

I'll say I'm interested in this, and will definitely pick it up and play it. But excited? No, I guess I'm getting a bit game-jaded. There hasnt been a new game that I've been excited about in a LOOONG time.
In a way this is a good thing - if they break the mold on SC2, or just do some really cool stuff with it, I'll be impressed and enjoy it more than if I came into it with high expectations. |
