Stern on Sirius availability
I'd like to hear Howard Stern uncensored, but I don't really want to buy Sirius just for that, esp. since they don't carry MLB.
Do you guys think Stern's show will be readily available on bittorrent after it starts?

They'll be carrying MLB for the 06 season? I had thought XM had signed them in to like a 3 year deal or something?

XM has them, not Sirius, if I understand correctly. Sirus has several of the other majors, but not MLB.
NHL, NBA, NFL = Sirius MLB, College (ACC, Big10, Pac10), NASCAR, PGA = XM The entire Howard Stern show is dumped daily into alt.binaries.howard-stern in several formats. .RM and .WAV in 30-60 minute incriments WHILE it's on the air (ok, 30-60 mintues behind realtime), and in commercial free .WAV files about an hour or two after he finishes for the morning. So, yes, since every Howard Stern show for the last 5 years or so has been posted to alt.binaries.howard-stern, I suspect on 1/9/06 things will continue as normal, except they'll be digital-to-digital instad of analog-to-digital. As a bonus, here's the 12/16/05 show in commerical free 56k WAV file format -- as a NZB, fire up your newsreaders. Last edited by Palimax Sceleris; 12-19-2005 at 05:09 PM.. One of the two of them played - they were in Mark of Honor, and Keith (Salvin) was a regular on their show and he also played.
