I'm downloading this as we speak, anyone else playing/going to play it? My Steam ID is... DiscW.
Something I didn't notice, was that if you already own Episode 1 and/or Half Life 2, you get a 'copy' of them to give away through steam when you buy the orange box. I thought that was pretty cool, along with a smart way to get more people into the game. |

I'm not sure what you're asking about, the giveaway or orange box, but both have singleplayer. The orange box includes the full versions of Half life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2,(new) Portals, and Team fortress 2. It's released on Oct. 10th, but you get 5 bucks off and the team fortress 2 beta if you preorder.
The stuff you can give away is the full versions singleplayer and multi of Half life 2 and Episode 1 as far as I can tell. |

Christ.. I used to play Team Fortress Classics back in the day. Gawd, couldn't have been more than 16! They were the good times. I loved the 2 fort map, with the bridge in the middle... Oh the memories. That owned.
Shame I don't have the time to even contemplate playing this. Let me know how it is, though ![]()

In similar news, just beat Portal today ... that game was rough though, kept getting me motion sick. You try it yet?

Ends up my main comp can't run it for now, so I haven't been able to play much at all.
Will be fixed and good to go soon though.I played through portals, though haven't touched the bonus stuff. One of the best games I've played in a while. I also did a bit of episode 2. I didn't expect that one part at all. |
