I couldn't agree more.
That guy was okay in Layer Cake, but Brosnan is so much more Bond than he is. |

the biggest reason that no good actor or proper looking actor will play james bond, is the role comes with it a exclusivity clause, meaning he will ONLY be bond for X numkber of years.

They moved away from Brosnan because he was getting older and they wanted a younger Bond. At least that is what was presented on TV tonight and probably somewhere on those MSN pages.
It came as a surprise to Brosnan and was the result of a single phone call that caught him off guard. He was expecting the next film... so I don't know about any clauses in contracts etc..

Of all the potential candidates, Daniel Craig may be the only actor willing/able to be exclusive for several years... without being missed for other acting projects.
 I love Brosnan, but his contract is up. |

I think I'd rather have Orlando Bloom as James Bond than this guy. Only if he didn't have the same accent/voice from Lord of the Rings because that would just be too wierd.
Hugh Jackman or Ewan McGregor would have even been better choices imo... I read somewhere that some jackass was trying to nominate Denzel Washington....

They tried Clive Owen for it and offered it to him before Craig, but he turned it down. I think he would've been perfect for it, myself.

Yeah Pierce Brosnan wanted to do another movie and I think he was expecting it but the movie producers wanted to go a different way.
