12 men in huddle was the equivalent of Denny Green having Cunningham (or was it Moon) take a knee....the Vikings are not programmed to take it to that higher level. Not to mention the fumbles, but that last penalty was what can be looked at as costing the game.
On the other hand I am really, really glad the Saints achieved their National Championship, and will be rooting for them in the Superbowl. They are now "America's team" for this generation, with all the parallels to the city that is their namesake.
